This Privacy Policy explains what data Revideo (https://revideo.io/) collects, what we do with it, and what rights you have over it. We've kept it as plain as we can, because a privacy policy nobody can read isn't really a privacy policy.
Who This Applies To
Anyone who visits revideo.io or uses the service, whether you're on a free account, a paid plan, or just browsing.
What We Collect
We keep this list short on purpose. Here's what we actually collect:
- Account information. Your email address and password, or your Google account details if you use Google sign-in.
- Payment information. If you upgrade to a paid plan, our payment processor handles your card details. We don't see, touch, or store full card numbers.
- Uploaded videos. When you upload a clip to run a search, the file is processed temporarily. We do not store videos on our servers. All session data is permanently deleted when your session expires.
- Basic usage data. Things like browser type, device info, IP address, and which pages you visited. This helps us keep the site running and catch bugs.
That's the full list. We don't collect anything sneaky in the background.
How We Use Your Data
We use the information above to:
- Run searches and return results to you
- Manage your account and authenticate logins
- Process subscriptions and refunds
- Respond to support requests
- Detect abuse and keep the service stable
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We don't share it with anyone outside the third-party services listed below.

Revideo runs on top of a few external services:

Each of these has its own privacy practices. We share only what's needed for them to do their job.
Cookies
We use essential cookies only. These are required to keep you logged in and to make the site function. We don't run advertising cookies or third-party tracking that builds a profile of you.
If your browser blocks essential cookies, parts of the service may stop working. That's not us tracking you — that's how logins work in general.
Data Retention
The short version: we don't keep your videos.
When you upload a clip, it's processed during your active session and deleted as soon as that session ends. We don't archive uploads, and we can't recover them later. If you want to save a search result, copy it down before you log out.
Account information stays as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal details within a reasonable timeframe, except where we're required by law to keep certain records (like billing receipts).
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request a correction if something's wrong
- Delete your account and associated data
- Withdraw consent for processing where it applies
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority
To use any of these rights, email support@revideo.io with your account details. We'll respond as quickly as we reasonably can.
Children's Privacy
Revideo isn't built for anyone under 13 (or under 16 in some regions). We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has signed up, contact us and we'll remove the account.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the data we hold, including encryption in transit and access controls on our systems. No service can promise perfect security, but we work to keep yours protected and to respond quickly if anything goes wrong.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as Revideo evolves. If we make changes that affect you in a meaningful way, we'll let you know by email or with a notice on the site. The "effective date" at the top will always reflect the latest version.
