These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Revideo (https://revideo.io/). When you create an account or use the service, you're agreeing to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
We've kept the language as direct as we can.
What Revideo Does
Revideo is a reverse video search tool. You upload a video, and we use third-party search infrastructure to find sources, duplicates, and similar content across publicly available platforms. We provide search results. We don't host, stream, or distribute the videos we find.
Your Account
To use Revideo, you'll need an account. You can sign up with email and password or through Google sign-in. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us right away.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Revideo (or 16, depending on your country). By creating an account, you confirm you meet that requirement.
Free and Paid Plans
Basic search is free. Advanced search features are available on a paid plan, with current pricing listed on the site.
We may change pricing or features over time. If we change pricing for an active subscription, you'll get notice before the change takes effect.
Refunds
Refunds are available under certain conditions. If you experience a billing error, a service outage that prevented you from using a paid feature, or another clear issue on our end, contact us and we'll review your request. Refunds for general dissatisfaction or unused portions of a subscription are handled case by case at our discretion.
To request a refund, email support@revideo.io with your account details and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.
A note on timing: refund requests are easier to process the sooner you raise them. Reaching out months after a charge makes it harder for us to verify and resolve.
Acceptable Use
You can use Revideo to search any video at your own risk and responsibility. The following uses are not allowed:
- Copyright circumvention. Don't use Revideo to bypass copyright protections, pirate content, or strip ownership from creators.
- Stalking and harassment. Don't use the tool to track, harass, intimidate, or threaten any person.
- Finding personal information on private individuals. Revideo is not a doxxing tool. Searching with the goal of identifying or locating private individuals without their consent is prohibited.
- NSFW or illegal content searches. This includes sexually explicit material, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or any other illegal content. Zero tolerance.
- Service abuse. Scraping, reverse-engineering, attempting to overload our infrastructure, reselling our service, or using bots to automate searches without permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Severity of the violation determines whether you get a warning or an immediate suspension.
Reminder: search results come from public sources, and how you use those results is your responsibility. We don't endorse, verify, or take ownership of what shows up in your searches.
Intellectual Property
The Revideo name, logo, branding, design, and underlying code belong to us. You can't copy, modify, or redistribute them without written permission.
You keep all rights to any video you upload. Since we don't store uploads beyond your session, those files don't stick around with us anyway.
Service Availability
We work to keep Revideo running reliably, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows, third-party API issues, infrastructure outages, or unexpected bugs can cause downtime. When something breaks, we move fast to fix it.
Disclaimers
Revideo is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee that every search returns results, that results will be complete or accurate, or that the service will fit every use case you have in mind. Reverse video search has real technical limits, and the platforms we search can restrict access at any time without warning.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent allowed by law, Revideo and the people behind it are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or the cost of one month of paid service if you're on a free plan.
Termination
You can stop using Revideo and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, or expose us to legal risk. If your account is terminated for a violation, refunds are not guaranteed.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the service grows and changes. Material updates will be communicated through the site or by email. Continuing to use Revideo after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which Revideo is operated. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with that jurisdiction's legal process.
Note: when Revideo is formally registered as a legal entity, this section should be updated to specify the exact jurisdiction.
